Try this first

The five-second test.

When a Rock Hill customer lands on your site from their phone, you have a few seconds before they hit the back button and call the next name. In that window they're asking three things: do you do what I need, can I trust you, and how do I reach you?

Tick the statements that are true for your website right now. Be honest. Nobody sees this but you.

Same business, two websites

What a customer sees in the first screen.

Flip between the two phones. The left one is what we see on a lot of Rock Hill small-business sites: a welcome message, a wall of text, and a phone number you have to scroll to find.

The right one answers the three questions right away: what you do, proof you're good at it, and one tap to call. Nothing fancy. It just stops making people work.

  • Phone and quote buttons without scrolling
  • Services as clear, separate items, each with its own page
  • Reviews and service area where people decide

AI search

When someone asks AI for a Rock Hill plumber, what does it read?

A growing number of people skip the list of links and ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Google's AI Overview who to call. Those tools build their answer from websites they can make sense of. That's why every site we build carries structured data, a machine-readable description of the business, written in the schema.org format that search engines publish.

The panel shows part of what that looks like for a made-up company. On a real site, it covers your services, service area, hours and contact details, and it sits alongside pages written as plain answers to real questions.

An honest caveat: no one decides what an AI tool says except the tool. We make sure you're a clear, credible option when it goes looking.

Why Rock Hill

One city, a lot of different customers.

Rock Hill had 74,372 residents at the 2020 census, making it the biggest city in York County and the fifth-biggest in South Carolina. It sits about 25 miles south of uptown Charlotte on I-77, it's home to Winthrop University, and it has spent years turning old textile property into new uses. The former Bleachery site is now University Center and the Rock Hill Sports & Event Center, and the Riverwalk along the Catawba hosted the 2017 UCI BMX World Championships. A website here has to fit the customer it's meant for.

Old Town & Main Street

Shops, restaurants and offices where people check hours, menus and directions from the sidewalk. The site has to load fast and answer the basics in one screen.

Around Winthrop

Students, parents and faculty who book from their phones. Online booking, clear prices and reviews matter more than a long About page.

The Riverwalk side

Newer neighborhoods and a steady flow of visitors for tournaments and trail days. Tonight's search is “near me,” and the business that shows up wins it.

Dave Lyle & the I-77 corridor

Manufacturers, suppliers and B2B firms whose buyers compare three vendors before they call. The site has to prove capability, not just look nice.

Neighborhoods across town

Homeowners from Reid Street's older houses to the subdivisions off Celanese and India Hook hiring roofers, plumbers and cleaners. Reviews and a phone number up top do the selling.

What moves a website's price up or down →

How it goes

From hello to live.

  1. You send your site or tell us you don't have one yet. Within a day you get a written review.
  2. A short call with Roger. Fifteen to thirty minutes on your customers and which package fits. You don't have to decide on the call.
  3. Half down, then we build. You send your logo and photos. We write, design and code everything.
  4. You approve it. The second half is due when the site is ready for your review, and it goes live once you sign off.

Common questions

How much is a website for a Rock Hill business?
Our builds start at $2,497 for five pages, $4,497 for eight to twelve, and from $8,500 for larger sites. You pay once for the build and own it. Hosting after launch is $49, $99 or $149 a month. The cost page explains what moves the number up or down.
Can you make my business show up in AI answers?
No one can promise that, because the AI tools decide what to mention. What we can do is make your site easy for them to understand: structured data that labels your business and services, one clear page per service, and plain answers to the questions customers ask. Sites without those basics rarely get picked up.
You're in Mooresville. Why hire you for Rock Hill?
Fair question. The work is done by phone, email and screen share, and it's the same whether you're on Main Street or in Mooresville. Roger answers his own phone, and he'll drive down I-77 to meet you if you'd like.
Do I have to sign a contract?
Not for a website. You pay half to start and half when the finished site is ready for your review. Monthly SEO has a six-month first term, then runs month to month.
Will you fix my existing site?
If it can be fixed, yes, and we'll tell you honestly if it can't. The free review covers that before you spend anything.

Find out what your website is costing you.

Send the link. Within a day Roger will email back a plain-English rundown: the good, the problems, and the first thing to fix. There's no charge.
