Why it's simple
Less to break, less to babysit.
Plenty of local businesses run WordPress with a purchased theme and ten or twenty plugins, each maintained by a different developer on a different schedule. When one of those updates goes sideways, the site breaks or gets hacked.
Our sites are hand-coded static pages. There's no plugin stack and no database on the server, so there's less to go wrong and the site stays quick.
How edits work
Send Roger a text or an email: "closed the Friday after Thanksgiving," "raise the tune-up price to $129," a picture of the new van. It's covered by your plan. Anything that needs a new page gets a quote first.
Questions about website care
- What counts as an everyday edit?
- Swapping hours for the holidays, dropping in a fresh photo, changing a price, adding or removing a staff member, posting a seasonal offer. Anything bigger, like an extra page, gets priced before we start.
- What happens if the site goes down?
- Monitoring alerts us and we get it back up. Static pages with no database or plugin layer rarely have outages in the first place.
- Do you take care of sites built by someone else?
- Generally no, because the plans are designed around sites we code. If yours runs on WordPress or a site builder, we'll help you decide between repairing it in place and starting fresh.
